I'll check out what kind of inverter I'd need for that 0.9 cubic one at Cdn Tire, or just use it when I have hydro. Thanks for all the ideas, I really like that 1/2 pint but the chances are slim of finding one in thrift store. I think I read that it draws 500 Watts but I will have to check it again. Canadian Tire has a 110V 0.9cubic, small (but not as small as the last picture above) for 69.95 which is a good price. Thanks, I figured the 12V would be expensive. I do more with it than I do with the stove top. I run mine with a 1200 watt Xantrex inverter. They where designed for dorm rooms and can usually be found on eBay or in thrift stores for around $50. Looks like it might work, and its from walmart.so return it if its a crappy unit.Īfter much searching, the best fit for the cabinet is the Sharp Half Pint series. There is also the wavebox, its 12v only and has its own battery This was the smallest one under 500 I could find.but it comes with an inverter so its just a small 110 wave. Maybe there is a cheaper one that works I haven't seen. Looking at 12v micro's and seeing the prices they fetch for ones with good reviews, i'll stick to cooking my raman noodles on the stove.
